Laboratory Manual in General Chemistry for Criminology Students

The “Laboratory Manual in General Chemistry for Criminology Students” is an introductory chemistry laboratory course that is tailor-made for BS in Criminology students. It covers the fundamentals of both inorganic and organic chemistry, with a focus on forensic applications. The initial activities cover the essentials of chemistry laboratory operations, glassware, apparatus, techniques, and chemical safety. These activities were designed to help students learn basic laboratory skills while also instilling a culture of laboratory safety awareness and its applicability in criminal investigations. Furthermore, the proper and systematic way of writing a schematic diagram and synthesizing a scientific paper will be demonstrated.
